What is a TELUS World of Science Gift Card?
The Gift Card is a reusable plastic card similar to a debit card. So convenient and great for gift giving! Purchases will be deducted from the card until it reaches zero. The Gift Card is redeemable for any of the following:

  • General Admission

  • IMAX Admission

  • Membership - card value can be used towards the purchase of a Membership

  • Gift Shop

  • Café

  • Concession

  • Be a Star

  • Special Events

  • Use it to make a donation to the Edmonton Space & Science Foundation

Where can I purchase a Gift Card?
At the Box Office or Gift Shop.

What amounts can I choose for my Gift Cards?
You can choose any amount from $10 to $500. The Gift Card is redeemable for purchases simply by swiping it at point of sale at TELUS World of Science.

Are there any fees or administration charges involved?
No, there are no extra fees or charges for ordering or using TELUS World of Science Gift Card.

Will I require a PIN or ID number?
No, you simply swipe at point of sale. You would use the PIN number for over the phone transactions or on web to check your balance, expiration date, and transaction history.

What is the expiry date?
Card balance must be used within 2 years of date of issue.

How do I check my balance?
Go to www.telusworldofscience.com/edmonton and have your PIN number ready, found on the back of the card, or phone our Box Office.

Does the Gift Card give cash-back when used during a transaction?
No, the Gift Card has no cash-back. Purchases will be deducted from the card until it reaches zero.

Can a Gift Card be re-loaded?
No, once the Card has reached zero, you can purchase additional Gift Cards.

Can a TELUS World of Science - Edmonton Gift Card be used at the Calgary
or Vancouver science centres?
No, a TELUS World of Science - Edmonton Gift Card is not valid at TELUS World of Science - Calgary or Vancouver.

Can a lost or stolen Card be replaced?
No, since cards are like cash, we cannot replace lost or stolen cards. Please treat your card like cash.

How many cards can I purchase at one time?
You may purchase as many as you need. For large volume purchases, please call our Box Office in advance.

Do Members get a discount on the purchase of gift cards?
No, the purchase of this card does not entitle Members to use their Membership card to obtain a discount.

What are the terms and conditions related to the use of a TELUS World of Science Gift Card?

  • This Gift Card is non-refundable and has no cash value.

  • This card is only redeemable at TELUS World of Science - Edmonton.

  • Present this Gift Card as payment towards your purchases TELUS World of Science- Edmonton and we will deduct the purchase amount from the available value on this Gift Card.

  • The card is redeemable for merchandise and services available at TELUS World of Science. 
    It cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash, cheque credit or payment on account.

  • You may continue to use this Gift Card until the value reaches zero.

  • This Gift Card is valid for 24 months from date of activation.

  • This Gift Card will not be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed.

  • Use of this Gift Card constitutes acceptance of theses terms and conditions.
