WHAT IS THE TELUS World of
Science™ HOME SCHOOL PROGRAM?
The TELUS World of Science
Home School Program was created to allow Home School students the chance
to experience the same programming that regular Alberta schools do.
Enhance your Home School Program by taking part in a curriculum related
Interpretive Program, one of our exciting Science Demonstrations, immerse
yourselves in an IMAX® film or explore our Galleries. The choice is up to
you!
WHO CAN TAKE PART IN THE
HOME SCHOOL PROGRAM?
Students who are currently
being home schooled are welcome to take part on any of our Home School
dates.
WHAT CAN I DO ON A HOME
SCHOOL DAY AT TELUS World of Science?
Take a look over the schedules
inside. You can decide what programs you wish to participate in. Mix and
match our different program offerings to make a perfect day!

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO
KNOW?
PLEASE READ
You MUST pre-register at least 2 weeks before the scheduled date to take
advantage of the special school rates on Interpretive Programs and IMAX
films, otherwise regular rates will apply. If you are a TELUS World of
Science Member, General Admission is free and you receive 50% off on IMAX
films.

REGISTER EARLY - First Day
of Registration - September 4, 2007
Our programs fill quickly,
sometimes months ahead.
Space is limited in a number of programs:
• Interpretive Programs – max. 28 students
• IMAX – maximum 274 people
General Admission must be
purchased by both Adults and Students.
• Younger children cannot
take part in Interpretive Programs that an older sibling is attending, due
to limited space in our classrooms. Only pre-registered students will be
allowed in the classrooms at these scheduled times.
• While your children are in an Interpretive Program, we invite
parents/guardians and younger children to explore our facility. General
Admission is required.
• Parent supervision is required for all children and students visiting
Galleries, Demonstrations and Theatres.
Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of your first
scheduled program.
Our Guest Relations staff will sign you in and direct you to your program.
All programs will begin promptly at their start times.
Lunch Time
Feel free to bring your own
lunch, or enjoy a meal from our Café. For efficiency, it is recommended
that Café lunches be pre-ordered ahead of time. (Ask for details when
pre-registering for programs.)
• A lunchroom has been set aside for all home school students from 12:00
noon to 12:30 pm.

GENERAL ADMISSION
(In order to take full advantage of Home School Days, General Admission is
required for all adults, students and children.)

Children 3 and under are free

• Payment is required at the time of booking. (Visa or MasterCard
accepted)
• Bookings for Interpretive programs and IMAX shows must be made at
least 2 weeks in advance.
• Prices include GST.
